january 4, 2019, chongqing industrial empowered innovation center project, led by chongqing machinery and electronic holding (group) co., ltd (cme), signed and officially unveiled. mayor of chongqing municipal tang liangzhi, deputy mayor wu cunrong, liangjiang new district management committee director duan chenggang, chongqing university president zhang zongyi, cme chairman wang yuxiang, sap global senior vice president, china region president li qiang and relevant principals from municipal government office,  big-data development bureau, municipal economy& information commission, liangjiang industrial group, liangjiang merchants group attended the unveiling activities.

at the site of activity, cme, sap china, liangjiang new district management committee, and chongqing university jointly signed a cooperation agreement. all the parts aiming at chongqing digital intelligent transformation, intelligent manufacturing promotion, industrial iot development and other objectives, joint develop intelligent manufacturing industry empowered innovation platform for chongqing enterprises, with building intelligent technology and application research center, industrial big -data center, intelligent manufacturing display and experience center, industrial incubation center, talent training centers and other second level centers or related business. the unveiling of the center will enhance the technological innovation ability of chongqing manufacturing industry and promote its high quality development. 
at the same time, cme equipment technology research institute co., ltd. as the central implementation company signed an 18 million rmb value technology introduction procurement contract with sap china.

in his speech, wang yuxiang said that the establishment of chongqing industrial empowered innovation center is an important measure for the municipal government to promote the big-data intelligence transformation and upgrade in chongqing enterprises. cme has its own digital intelligence demand, and also bearing the mission to promote the big-data intelligence development of the city, and it has to play the role of leading enterprises to make demonstration effect. cme will strive to make the chongqing industrial empowered innovation center into an intelligent empowered and innovation platform for chongqing manufacturing industry enterprises.
